Japan doesn't necessarily have a hot climate, it's more of a humid mid 60's mid 70's fahrenheit. I would pack tshirts and jeans. Definitely take at least one jacket with you.

Oh I'm just in the everything section haha and I dunno I always take a bit of everything in those situations. It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it!

I wouldn't say cold, maybe chilly. It won't get under 55 degrees, but it'll be at night when it's chilly, and I doubt you'll be out and about at night time since its with your school.

Don't take any shirts that show your chest/cleavage, it's super inappropriate in Japan.
