My natural hair color is brown and next month I'm going to do balayage hair/ very natural blond highlights, and I have no idea on how to take care of it. Can you give me tips? Thanks :)

Oh yes! My favorite topic x I'm naturally dark brown, & I have white hair 💙 the biggest life saver you can do for your hair is coconut oil, once a week. Just put it in before bed, sleep in a shower cap, wake up & wash it out.
Also because you'll be stripping the moisture out of your hair, do not wash it everyday. Or even everyother day, because it won't get oily as often. Honestly, I go sometimes a week without washing my hair just to keep the moisture locked it and prevent it from drying out.

A given is to use products that are sulfate & alcohol free. My favorite one atm is by Hask, & I use the Argan oil shampoo & conditioner. As well as the hair oil they have too.

Also try to use as little heat as possible. Yes, it is a sacrifice, but it's worth it.(:

I've never dyed or highlighted my hair, but be sure to follow the basic rules of taking care of your hair.

1.) don't brush it too often. brushing your hair is one of the most damaging things you can do. yes, it is important and we all must brush our hair, but try to brush it as little as possible because this will pull on your hair and cause breakage.
2.) don't wash your hair everyday. only wash your hair when it's oily because washing it strips your hair's natural oils and it can be very drying to the hair.
3.) only use heat when you absolutely need too. I only use heat if it's a special event or if I'm straightening my hair because there are so many tutorials for heartless curls!
4.) use hair masks and treatments to condition/moisturize your hair. only use 1-3 times a week and try switching up your products so your hair doesn't get used to the same stuff.
5.) try rinsing your hair in cold water. this locks in moisture and makes your hair very soft and shiny!

I have more tips, but there are literally a million. try looking on Google and youtube if you are interested in some more (:
