What is the best way to keep your foundation looking good and matte all day? Also suggestions for makeup that will look simple and natural on camera? I'm being induced in the morning, but want my makeup to stay looking fresh and simple, but still pretty because lots of pictures will be taken. Thanks in advance (:

My makeup melted off my face when I gave birth. I didn't have foundation on but I had on eye makeup and it was ridiculous. Haha. I would do a light coverage yet heavy duty foundation, carry a matte powder with you.

First off good luck and I hope you share some pics of the little guy!! :-) Loreal infallible pro matte is very long wearing, medium coverage and matte! It can be a little drying though, at least on my skin type -normal/dry.

Hahaha I am lucky enough that I'll have time before going into labor to do my makeup since its planned :) Shanae, I'm definitely leaving my eyes bare since I'll be bawling more than my little one, haha!

Aww how exciting! I had makeup on with my first child and I hated the way it felt on my face with all the pain and didn't want anything on my face while delivery so I ended up taking it off lol. I didn't put any makeup on with my other two younger kids either. I honestly didn't care. But I know a foundation for a fact will last through sweat is the Smashbox 15 hour foundation. I've worked out with it, cooked a big mess of steamy foods with it, kids spraying water on my face, etc. and by the end of the night it still looks great on my face. Also, ABH dip brow pomade is great for long lasting eyebrows. I'm so used to the pomade being long lasting I forget that sometimes I use powder and accidentally wipe it off my face lol! I hope you have a smooth labor and delivery!

I hope you have a safe labor and delivery!! With my daughter I didn't get an epidural.. So I suppose it depends on your pain tolerance, the length of labor and all that jazz.. I honestly think it's cute but you're going to be better off without makeup.

I totally agree with Sandra lol I put a little but of makeup on before going to the hospital when my water broke & by the time I was having contractions my makeup was completely off! I looked like complete crap in my pics but no one is going to care about how you look everyone is going to be in love with the new baby :-) <3 congrats doll & good luck.
