Okay so every time when I wear light color lipsticks or lip gloss. it always looks gross and clumpy and after a few minutes my lips naturally push the lipstick or lip gloss forward on my lips and it usually builds up on my top lip next to the corners.
does anyone else have this problem?
whenever I wear dark colors its not noticeable but it happens every time and I wanna wear pretty light lip colors

What brand are you using? And maybe you're putting too much on.

For my lip gloss which is what I've been trying to use lately is the NYX butter gloss and the matte

You're probably applying too much product.

I never experience that with the NYX matte lipsticks not the butter glosses, only do when I've applied way too much. Also, don't apply so much near the corners of the mouth

Yea, it's probably too much product, don't forget to blot your lips after application!

I honestly don't think I'm over applying because the lip gloss color doesn't last long at all.

I've never had that problem either. But I've heard people say that before though.

This happens to me sometimes and I haven't figured out what it is yet but it's not the lip product usually. Maybe try exfoliating your lips first & put on a tiny bit of chapstick before.

Definitely exfoliate your lips! It helps a ton. You can use sugar and a toothbrush

Do you rub your lips together a lot?

Kiimy B.
Try a lip primer.

You most likely need a lip primer. What happens to your lips is called feathering.
Too faced has a lip primer called lip insurance or something like that

It might just be the products you have, but with lipsticks what helps keep everything looking and feeling nice if making sure your lips are moisturized, then using lip liner& lipstick :)
