Hello my fellow Beauties,Here's a bit of info for the new beauties and even some whom been here for a bit.I can give some info that may help to be seen.I always suggest to everyone to start following people here on BL because in turn they will follow back and if on the site in the notification's you'll notice a Recent activities section, you press that and everyone you follow their Activity will show up, So if let's say for example Shanae posted a pic and I follow her ( which I do,by the way I follow most of you) I'll see it right when it uploads and I can go view it and like it and with that your other follower's will as well or even Mine will see what I liked and may like it too.It goes into this chain reaction then it get's attention which uploads to the picture feed.Same goes for threads the more you talk the more attention threads get then up the chain it goes(please keep the conversation going,don't leave your thread behind because then it ends up stale and buried) keep commenting on it.Hope that all made sense. Also recent activities show's threads from whom you follow and you can give a look right away. Please follow member's if at least all because especially if you notice you don't get answer's to your thread's, if you don't follow how would anyone know you existed to begin with to get answer's from the huge amount of member's that are active? I see this a lot here I'll look at a profile and people follow the person but that person has 0 follows back which won't help because you won't get seen with No activity PLEASE FOLLOW Back lol and always add a title with your picture,what kind of look is it? or what ever you could add.Just thought this would be helpful for all :) Stay Beautiful,Be Kind and have a Wonderful day.Don't forget to have FUN and LAUGH here let's bring some Joy.

Very interesting thread Alma, but there are many users who prefer the app compared to the web site ( myself included, the browser on my phone hates me, lol). Would there be any way to contact the developers and ask them to update the app to allow notifications ( in the same way facebook has its notification alerts)?

Great thread, Alma! I think notifications only show "x" period of time for followers and since I don't often use the website, I'm often unaware I have a new follower...who I'd love to follow back. :/

Thanks Rozberry,By the way do any of you receive the following email? If someone starts following you or even comment's on a picture of your's or your wall you usually get a email update on it.Did you all mark that you wanted that info sent to you when you joined BL?

Sometimes but not always. I usually get the emails for product being in stock, but rarely anything relating to the community aspect.

Ok Thank you Jen for the feed back. I would double check with Beautylish and ask if you can get updates emailed to you. I get mine updated to me, I get emails informing me who just followed me so I'm sure you can as well.

Great post Alma. I get notifications via email about new followers...getting in the habit of immediately clicking on the link to go to their page and follow back.

Great tips! I just recently discovered that you can see your recent activity/notifications using your phones browser before I thought you could only see them on a computer. Jens idea is great. I'd love to see some sort of notification section on the app (:

Lordy...my email is already swamped. A notice, such on Yelp or twitter, when there is interaction would be divine. I have 2 emails that I cannot keep up with. #FirstWorldProblems.

Those are some things that could be suggested to them for sure Rozberry. I myself can't tweet for crap lol my bird or should I say my Crow flops over and burps...I can't keep up with that lol I'm so bad. Thank you Rebecca good to hear yours is updating you.:)
