I am debating whether I should attend a makeup course and be a certified makeup artist.. I already freelance and I feel as if I'm already and good and others agree lol but do you think a certification is needed.

Yes because it could be a benifet in the long run and if you want to get a career as a make up artist you can't just say "I'm good and everyone says so" 😊 p.s good luck!

In my opinion a certificate gives you that extra marketing tool. Not only does it do that, but also it lets clients know that you (the artist) know what you're doing. Also it gives you security knowing all the current work hygiene and safety practices which protects you.
