So I Really Wanna Get The Clarisonic But What Are Your Opinions? Would You Reccommend It?

I would highly recommend a Clarisonic! I got one in April and my skin has changed for the better, my oily skin is now much more on the normal side and my skin feels so smooth, clean, and soft (:

Did It Break You Out The First Couple Of Months?

I had a small breakout on my chin the first week I used it but that's all.

I love my clarisonic. most of my acne has cleared up, and my skin is no longer ever flakey. I use mine with the cashmere luxe brush head twice a day. :) I remember having a small breakout at first, and now I only see an increase in breakouts when I don't use it for a few days

I don't have a clarisonic. I have the conair true glow which is like exactly the same as the clarisonic (it uses sonic vibrations) but it's cheaper so may be worth looking into. But I love it my skin feels so much better and smoother. I got a few pimples but nothing major and I've been using it for a month. I love the body brush which comes with it. It's almost cleared up my arm pimples which I've been trying to do forever

I have had mine for 3 years and it is easily the best skin investment I have ever made. I wished I would've bought it sooner! I DO NOT recommend using a cheaper brush because they will ruin your skin because they DON't have the sonic pulses that the Clarisonic does. Important things to know about the Clarisonic is 1- make sure you get the right brush head for your skin type (this was kinda tricky for me but I use the delicate brush head; sometimes you kinda have to play around with different ones and see what works for you). 2- Don't press too deeply into your skin; the sonic pulses will do their job, you just have to slowly move it around. 3- Use it consistently. Most people that don't like the Clarisonic is because they aren't using it properly. If you don't use it everyday its not going to work. Some people think its too harsh for everyday use but the brush is safe (its expensive for a reason). I use mine every night (in the mornings I don't use) and I remove my makeup first and then use the Clarisonic with any cleanser (I personally don't like their cleansers). I want the brush to deep clean my face and not just try to remove my makeup... Also if you are trying to decide between brushes (Mia and Mia 2) I would just go with the Mia. I recently bought the more expensive Mia 2 as a backup and its basically the same as the Mia just $50 more... If you wanna know more about my experience with the Clarisonic just feel free to ask me!

I heard that you need to clean it well since the bacteria can cause breakouts. I don't own one but that's what people are warning me for (since I'm looking into buying one as well)

I bought one and I don't use it anymore I didn't have bad skin to begin with but it made it worse even tho I regularly cleaned the brush and bought new heads, I wouldn't recommend one

I've never heard about the cleaning bacteria off it. With mine I just rinse it with water and put the brush cover over it and once a week I let everything air out and dry. I've heard that the clarisonic mias have a terrible battery life so it may be worth looking at other sonic cleansers. There are other sonic cleansers that you can get cheaper than the clarisonic. mine was 200 and the clarisonic Mia 1 was 180 and I got mine for 110 on special. It has sonic pulses just like the clarisonic and has different speeds, better battery life and a body brush. I only use the low speed on my face but I use medium to high on my body. there is also one called the purasonic which is cheaper than the clarisonic and uses the sonic pulses.

I have a Mia and the battery life is perfectly fine. I've also never had any problems with bacteria (:

My battery life is fine on both of the Clarisonic's I have. And I have never had an issue with bacteria but like makeup brushes (or anything really) you need to clean them. I'll say it again, those other 'dupe' brushes don't have the sonic pulses. Also the post is opinions on the Clarisonic and since you (pretty sure you know who this applies to) don't have one how do you have opinions on how it is? Anyways here are the prices of Clarisonic's on Sephora's website. If you are going to constantly say I'm wrong about the Clarisonic maybe you should do research on it to know what you are actually talking about.

Seriously Lisa you might as well just say my name. There are other brushes with sonic pulses. I wish people on here would look up things before they try and say that their way is the only way to do things. I was talking about the other brush because it does the exact same thing as the clarisonic so I was explaining how my skin felt better using a sonic cleansing brush. Maybe if you watched lots of youtube videos or read rhe reviews on the clarisonic website like I have then you would know that lots of people have had trouble with the battery life decreasing considerably. Do your research about other sonic cleansers before you try and tell me that clarisonic is the only one ;). If you need proof that it isn't the only one then I'm happy to provide it.

I'm only telling you all of this because I don't want you to ruin your skin. I have done research obviously or I wouldn't keep commenting! I was saying how can you compare it to other brushes when you haven't even owned a Clarisonic? I have actually tried those other brushes (Conair, Clinique, & Olay) and they are NOT anywhere close to Clarisonic. It IS the only kind that offers special sonic pulses. The others might indeed but they are different than the kind of sonic pulses that Clarisonic has. Thats what I've been trying to tell you since YOU asked the questions yourself a few weeks ago about the Clarisonic. Thats what pisses me off the most and why I have been rude to you about it, is because you don't know about the Clarisonic, so I and other's on here gave you info on several threads that you have posted asking questions about the Clarisonic. That's great that you love your other brush but stop saying things about the Clarisonic and how it doesn't work compared to yours when you don't even have it.

Here is a link to an old thread that I have found that has info that Kitty posted about the Clarisonic: http://www.beautylish.com/t/ymaisp/clarisonic-dupe-products

BTW I have been in Beautylish for about 2 years now and you are the only person that I have had issues with!

Sorry Jessica A for the rant on your thread! If you want to know more about the Clarisonic then feel free to ask me!

Wow Lisa no need to get so rude about it. I don't have 'issue' with you I was just stating my opinion and facts from YouTube videos and reviews I have read. I have also been on beautylish for years so I don't see why it matters how long you've been on here for.
