In my kit I have a couple of different products I use for highlighting, Hourglass-Ambient Lighting Palette, Nars- Copacabana Multiple stick and Josie Argan- Illuminizer. I love all these products so far, but I don't know if I have found the "ultimate"one yet.

You'll never find the ultimate one because illuminating is beautiful and so many have upped their game it's ridiculous but in a good way lol I'm addicted to Illuminators and brightening highlighters of all colors because when paired with the right blushes it can look amazing. That Josie Illuminator is so pretty! I've been hooked on Estee lauder goddess Gelee, Kevyn Aucoin celestial powder candlelight and starlight, Mac strobe, Mac soft & gentle, hourglass Radiant, L'Or?al visible lift rose gold, Lorac tantalizer, Stella liquid gold, Boots n7 instant Radiance, Hard candy glow all the way in doll face, Nars Albatross,Victoria secrets Radiant glow, Palladio Ibiza, Too faced candlelight glow, Model Co Iluminosity,Klean color spring blossom, Bobbi brown brightening finishing powder bronze glow.I say always be on the search because you'll always find something beautiful and it never ends :)

I'm with Alma I literally fall in love with every highlighter, it's one of my favorite parts of doing my makeup. Currently I'm using Mac lightscapade and I like it a lot, Too Faced Candlelight glow is also nice

I'll tell you that I got a sample of Cindy lou manizer in a birchbox and it does not show up on me whatsoever. Maybe because I have a pinky/reddish complexion and it's a pink colored product, but I don't even see any shimmer! I should try another or just use eyeshadow.

I love using nars copacabana, the liquid version, then using a really sheer essence sparkly pink eyeshadow over top for a "pop".
I am super pale, so before this routine I'd just use white sparkly eyeshadow lol.

Its so hard to choose without making the next one jealous. I really been loving Josie Maran's Iluminating Wand. And I don't discriminate either...I have powder, cream and powder highlighters in my stash. I always say I found the ultimate one but three weeks later I discover a new one and I say the same thing.lol.

MAC- Studio Face Powder in Gold.
It's very finely milled, a lot better than the iridescent powders they once had.
This one is a soft yellow color and I LOVE it on my complexion.

Is it possible to use a liquid concealer as a highlighter for contouring? Or can anyone recommend a highlighter which is matte and and. It very shimmery?
