Have any of you tried Almay primer?

I bought the Almay Smart Shade, perfect & correct primer towards the end of 2014. I haven't used it much at all. Maybe two or three times. I do have my doubts about the product though. I did look through a few reviews and they were all so negative. What do you guys think? Have any of you tried it?
