1.) how long does a sunburn last?
2.) will my skin appear more tan once it heals?
here's a picture of my face (in case it helps determine how long it might last)
hahaha sorry. I know very little about sunburns, but I have been applying aloe vera regularly and it has gotten better than it looked yesterday. (the picture is from yesterday)

You won't become more tan because you a fare skin and a sunburn for me lasts only about a week but I don't know about you.

That might last a couple days, and for getting tan, it really depends on the person, and everyone tans differently. For example, out of my friends, one tabs easily and never gets sunburnt, but two of my friends get sunburnt, then get a tan when the sunburn goes away, and I always sunburn and never tan. We all have/had pretty fair skin, so it really just depends.

Okay. I hope it only lasts a couple days! it doesn't appear to be as bad now. my nose is still really red, but my cheeks have cleared up for the most part. my forehead just feels really dry.

I think that it will last a week tops! Use a lot of after sun / Aloë Vera and you'll be fine :)

Yeah that's going to last about 4-7 days and there's a chance it may peel if you don't regularly get sunburnt on the face.

It's already starting to peel on the nose. my cheeks are starting to clear up and my forehead is peeling a little too. it's not that painful anymore though. hopefully the redness will wear off soon (:

Is it a good idea to apply moisturizer on the peeling skin? I did it earlier and it stung a lot, but it made my skin feel nicer to the touch..

I wouldn't personally be applying moisturiser this early to it, just keep up with the aloe Vera :) I'd try for moisturiser when the redness is gone and it's just started flaking

For immediate relief, get a Luke warm wash cloth and put some apple cinder vinegar on it and place the wash cloths on the effected area. Works every time!!
