So I'm going to be bleaching my roots, which are pretty close to black, and I was wondering if I should put coconut oil in my hair before I bleach it or after?

After. it's probably going to need it then :)

Both :) I bleached my hair with coconut oil in my hair and my hair was barley damaged after, plus it helped me get the bleach on more evenly and smoother.

I agree with Kiimy. ^ Also, protein is best after bleaching, so maybe egg or avocado.

Would the oil make my hair bleach unevenly or not as well?
