So it was definitely an impulse buy when I bought the new CT cream shadow in veruschka I just fell in love with the colour! It's a warm sort of grey with a hint of mossy green, I thought it was really unusual and the texture of the product is amazing!

I've worn it once just swept over the lid for a bit of a subtle smokey eye but I was just wondering what you'd do with it and what lipstick you'd pick to go with it?

Here's a swatch of the colour (I'm out and about so just took the picture off Charlotte Tilbury's website)

Here's another swatch off the internet that shows the colour more accurately.

That is a gooorgeous color! Just by looking at it, I'd use it all over my lid, and then I'd use a gold pigment right in the center of the lid, with maybe a darker eyeshadow on the outer edges... So it's basically a halo/spotlight eyeshadow look. I wouldn't suggest this type of shadow application if your eyes are close set - in that case I'd use a lighter shade in the inner corner.

The colour's just ❤️ if you're into your cream shadows and you don't have a colour similar I'd definitely suggest getting it! The formula's really impressed me so far actually, it dries and sets really nicely and doesn't budge at all once it's set.

Avoid Charlotte Tilbry counters at all costs because you will want everything just based on the colours alone. 😝

I like the idea of using a gold pigment but I don't actually own one. Do you have any suggestions? I'm a bit lost when it comes to pigments.

No problem. I'm wearing it for an evening out tomorrow so I'll be able to give it a proper road test then and get back to you? I've only worn it for an hour or two previously to test it out colour and finish wise.

Is there anything you want to know in particular about it and I can pay proper attention to how it wears and what not.

What two colours are you interested in?

You could also use a simple gold eyeshadow! I have a few but they're all Italian brands that aren't available elsewhere. But I love MAC pigments in general so I think that would be great! Or you could get one of the l'oreal color infallible pressed pigments, the one I have doesn't have a number or name on it but it's an old gold. Those are really good, if you come across them definitely get a few, I made the mistake of only getting one and now I can't find anymore!

That looks really nice Breeze! I just had a look for the loreal ones in town and couldn't find any of the infallible ones. Do you think they've discontinued them?

I really hope not but it does look like it since they're super hard to find. :'(

Oh no! I'll keep my eye out for them though and let you know if I find them anywhere.
