How to wear colorful eyeshadow?

I really want to try colorful looks in my eyes but I don't know how to wear them without looking like I have too much makeup. I have this neon blue and green compact that I really wanna wear tomorrow but I don't know what to with them and what to do with the rest of my face :s Help please? Pictures are very appreciated :)

You could do a cut crease with bold lashes and a nude lip.

When I wear colorful eyeshadows, I try and keep it simple,because I want the color to show.For me personally,bronzer to add a glow to my skin, and a light/ nude lipstick, and filled in eyebrows.I don't wear any foundation so can't speak on that behalf. I do like to emphasize my eyeliner a bit more though. Hope I helped :)

Thanks for the ideas girls! I'm thinking maybe replacing the coral from Maria's pic with green and doing a pop of blue on the lower lash line like Sandra x3 I hope it works this colors indimidate me ><

Aw thanks for the info Sheerise I didn't see your comment! I'll try to go as nude as posible on my lips and I agree on the eyeliner, I think it will look nicer if I make it thicker :D.

I agree with everyone saying do the pop of colour on the lower lash line that's what I usually do but I do like this look as well, and I apologize it's not my look it's just one I had save to try and haven't tried yet
