I've'e never actually had short hair before. Having short hair is part of the latest trends. I'm so indecisive therefore, I don't know if I should cut it. What are some advantages and disadvantages of short hair?

I've gone from pixie cut to super long hair, and everything in between. This probably won't help, but there are advantages and disadvantages to everything. I like long hair Bc I play sports so I want to be able to throw it up, but Janelle is right, it can be a lot easier with tangles, and yes it tends to make hair look healthier. I really think an important factor is your lifestyle as well. Hope this helped :)

As the girls have said, short hair is easier to manage and keep healthy. Also, as long as it's not cut above the chin, you should have no problem scraping it up lol. The only thing I miss about having long hair is being able to change it up for like special occasions or going out. It's kind of limited what you can do with short locks :(

Firstly, just because something is a trend doesn't mean you have to necessarily follow it, but I'm sure you know that so I'll just continue on.
Adv- doesn't take much time to style, feels lightweight, and for some younger people that like to look older it changes your look to a more mature one you could say...? It feels healthier since most split ends are cut off. Here in AZ, my short hair doesn't stick to my sweat or make me feel hot like my long hair did.
This- there's not many styles to do with short hair, Depending on the length of your short hair it may be hard to put up, or also you could look older. And for curly hair short hair with layers can cause it to frizz up I believe.

Also, long hair is kind of a generic sign of femininity. A few of my friends who had a pixie cut said they felt "boyish" bc of their hair, but then again you could always make up for it by playing with your makeup and clothes!

If you do get it cut and you are unsure of the result, you can always wear hair extension.

If you don't have any trouble managing your long hair, don't go for short ones. Long hair are much more beautiful than the short.
