Eye Looks For A Red Lip?

I love my red lipstick but I'm stuck in a rut as to how to do my eye makeup! I always do a simple neutral eye, skin tone color on the lid, a slightly darker color in the crease, and a cream/white shade in the inner corner and under the brow, because if feel like if I do anything else it will clash.

Suggestions for daytime eye looks for a red lip would be greatly appreciated!

Please don't suggest winged liner, I don't wear eyeliner other than tight lining and my waterline.

I think purple eyeshadow looks would look gorgeous :)

Gold and brown/black gradient eye is all I can think of really lol. Otherwise, I just adore red lips with simple eyes(lots of mascara or falsies, whatever you fancy, and a heavy inner corner highlight), especially for day time.

I wear my red lipstick with all of my eyeshadow looks. I typically stick to neutrals because it's difficult to tell if I messed up with it but gold eyeshadows look stunning, especially shimmery ones.

I like doing a brown smokey eye with a red lip sometimes.

As for nighttime, smokey eyes look nice. Or a heavy gradient eye with gold or silver on the lid, whichever you prefer

Thank you so much, ladies! (:

Renay, I think I sometimes overthink my looks when I wear a red lip. I'll have to try out a simpler look (:

Jacqlyn, that looks absolutely gorgeous! I'll have to try out a rusty eye look one day, thank you! (:

I think a plum colour would look nice :)

Maybe it's just me but I don't like the idea of purples and reds together, I think it just clashes too much, but thank you Charlotte (:

What about copper or a rose gold if not on the whole lid, but maybe as a liner?

Copper sounds lovely, I'll have to try that too. Thank you, Tina! (:

I tend to just do a bit of highlight and contour. KA Sculpting Powder in the crease (Cool, matte, brown) and the KA Celestial Powder in Candlelight (a slightly shimmery champagne) in the inner corner and under the arch of my brow. I then tightline and add brown eyeliner ( I use one of the gel pencils, think the rimmel scandaleyes) in the outer third of my eye, almost like a very tiny wing to make the outer lashes appear thicker and the eye elongated. I then take a brush and smudge this slightly and build up to my liking. Then add mascara.

On the whole it comes out quite natural looking (You can tell you're wearing something so it's more of a step up from a natural look) but I find that with my brows filled in (naturally, no "instagram brows" here) and dewy "no-make up make up" looking skin it balances the bold lip out really well for the day.

Or if you want it amped up a touch. A cream eyeshadow in a bronze or purpley taupe (By Terry's Misty Rock is my go to) with tightlining and mascara of course looks really fab!
