Loreal setting spray questions.

I'm looking into buying the loreal setting spray, and I just wanted to get some questions answered since I've never used anything like it. I have oily-combo skin, mainly oily around nose and forehead. I have acne, which so I have to use concealer but it doesn't stay on as long as I wanted to. So my questions are, does using a setting spray really make a difference? Will it make my concealer (or all of my makeup in general) stay on longer? Does it prevent you from looking cakey? If anyone has tried this, please let me know :)

I have the loreal setting spray and love it!! it works really well to prolong the amount of time your makeup lasts.
