I really want to wear brighter lipsticks for the summer, but whenever I try even light lipsticks or even a nice nude I look awful. I'm quite pale and have light brown hair and I have acne and my foundation doesn't completely cover it but I hear that in order to pull of brighter lipsticks you need a flawless complexion. So how can I pull of brighter lipsticks for the summer?

Do you have a picture of what one looks like on you?

You don't need to have a perfect complexion to pull off bright lipsticks? Haha, if anything, such a bright lip will distract from your acne. You can suit anything just make sure the color goes hand in hand with your skin tone.

I wear a lot of gold jewelry cause I think I look good in gold so does that mean I have a warmer undertone?

The girls are right, just match the shade with your undertone/skintone in mind. Also, the color of teeth can often affect the way a lippie looks.

You can dab the lipstick onto your lips instead of swiping it on which will give you that pretty colour but not as bold. Or you can wear a bright lipstick with neutral eye makeup just some mascara and if you want very beautiful eye shadow colours it's always good to only have your lips or yes to be dramatic instead of both. For skin I would try getting a yellowish concealer to hide red blemishes as yellow cancels out red. You can also apply a bit of a highlighter to your cheekbones to give you a pretty glow but since it's a powder it won't look oily or greasy. You should use powder over your foundation and concealer to reduce the appearance of oil and also I would try using the beauty blender for foundation application because it's gives you that gorgeous perfect looking flawless skin just remember to get it a bit damp and pounce it on your skin. Banana powder is also great by Ben nye for hiding blemishes as it is yellow it will hide redness and it actually hides blemishes a little more to and gives you a beautiful matte look but still a healthy looking radiant skin.
