So I'm VIB at sephora and everything is currently 15% off for me, so I took it as a chance to get a few dollars off of darker Kat Von D foundation for summer and the shade and light palette I've been drooling over forever. I went to get the palette and checked out quickly and got home and realized they had placed the eyeshadow palette (same price and packaging) in the place that said contour palette and never said anything about it. I'm just a little bothered but I did spend $40 on this thing and I just want to know if I'm over reacting? The sale ends tomorrow so I doubt I'll be able to switch it out for the contour kit in time for the same price so what should I do here?

If it isn't the product that you originally desired to have and you aren't interested in trying out and keeping this one, then I would go back to Sephora and exchange it.

I agree with Jacqueline, you should've checked the palette before hand as things will always get shuffled around in a store plus the packaging is extremely similar so I can see how someone would've made that mistake.

I don't think it's their fault hat you got confused just because people move things around all the time so I don't think it was originally put there. Call and explain your situation and see if you can just swap it out for the contour palette since they're the same price

Wether it's your fault or not as long as you haven't used it surely you can return or Atleast exchange it so if it's not what you want deffinitly take back :)

Usually even if it was on sale, they'd give it to you for the sale price since you did but it yesterday, also sephora's pretty nice about exchanging their products, so I'd just go back as soon as you can and swap it :)
