Does anyone know of any DIY makeup tutorials/products I could use? I've seen lipstick tutorials with the melting crayon method, and it worked great for me! Here's how the lipstick turned out:

I would stick to non-DIYS for makeup as some can be risky. There's some stupid people on Youtube that are making Oreo mascara and M&Ms eyeliner, which is just a breeding ground for bacteria and eye infections. I'd just stick to the crayon lipsticks if I were you

Kailey - Yeah, some silly girl on YouTube makes it

Kit - No offence, but blueberries for mascara is basically asking for an eye infection, which can lead to blindness. The sugar level (albeit natural) breeds bacteria like no ones business, especially around the delicate area of your eyes.

If you're making DIYs, do NOT do anything around your eye area, as your eyes are extremely delicate. It can lead to aforementioned eye infections, styes and blindness. DIYs for eye makeup can cause so much trouble that you might as well stick to non-DIYs just so the local Emergency Department or Opthamologist don't know you personally.

I agree with Hannah. I would just buy makeup from the drugstore.

Melt old lipsticks and put them in a container and you have a cream blush.

There's a diy highlighter and lipstick tutorial on xovain by Danielle (Google it 😊) and they seem pretty safe in terms of ingredients. However they're definitely expensive and really labor intensive, since they require products like shea butter, beeswax and almond oil.
