When I was in the phase I used to sleep in my eyeliner lol (I don't anymore!!) and in the morning I'd put a little bit of nude eye-shadow over it to tone down the color.

I'd look up Taylor momson because she does a lot of grungy makeup, but I think anything dark looks good, like a navy blue, dark purple, dark green, red, dark brown, gray, pretty much anything :)

I think the whole point of grunge is not caring. For 100% authenticity slap some eyeliner on your eyes and blink a lot to transfer some to your bottom lids.
