It could be from nail polishes and it could have stained your nail and it just so happens that it only stained one. It could also be that you are not feeling 100% your best and that's when people get a yellow tinge to their nails. Your nail may have also become damaged a little bit from the shellac and nail polish but just on one finger.

Did it suddenly appear after you took off some polish? Maybe you forgot to put base coat one time because it really looks like a polish stain. Doesn't look like fungus or anything like that.

I only use shellac guys, so I know it's not staining. Could it be from the nicotine in cigarettes?

Omgggg, yes. Cigarettes are terrible. Yellow nails can definitely be from cigarettes.
