I'm going to be a bridesmaid for my brothers wedding in August this year and I'm aiming to grow my hair a little bit longer in order to enable me to have my hair in the style it needs to be with out extensions my hair is.just past my shoulder blades..my hair is very fine but not necessarily thin and get my hair trimmed every 6 weeks however my last hair cut was suppose to be on Monday but I missed do you think I should wait for the next 6 weeks to get my hair trimmed or book myself in to get it.cut sooner... Also how much should I be cutting off each time in order for my hair to actually grow and not just.stay the same length xxx thankyou xx

I think 6 weeks is too soon if you want to grow your hair. I suggest you let it grow and eventually get a nice haircut sometime around August.:)

Your stylist is really the best person to ask. I assume you've been going to her (or him) a while. They should have an idea of how fast your hair grows and if you explain what you want to do they will be able to advise you best.

My hair dresser recommeds that I still get.my hair trimmed becausw.my.hair tends to get very thin at the ends if I don't xx the wedding is 13th of August so when would you recommend I cut it xx

Maybe every 8 weeks if you use very little heat styling, you want to make sure they get all the split ends when you trim it.

If I were in your place then may be a day or two prior to the the wedding as our hair looks just so gorgeous on the day of our haircuts as they are set so well

Most stylists suggest cutting hair every 3 months. Does your hair grow fast? Try getting off too many layers that way the ends will not look thin.

I tend to see most of my hair growth soon after I get it cut especially when a lot is trimmed off... my hair grows lovely and healthy when I get it cut every 6weeks but it takes so long xx Thankyou for your advice guys xx
