Hi, I'm looking for a matte finish be or cc cream for an everyday use to work. I don't really touch up my make up or anything hence want it to last all day long. My skin is pale and generally clear with some spots here n there.
PS: a lot of the brands that I read about here are not available in my country, would really prefer tried and tested recommendations so that I can blindly get it shipped :) TIA :)

I think matte bb/cc creams are the unicorns of makeup lol but I'm following just in case. I usually just set it with powder to mattify, I have not found one with a matte finish yet.

I also set it with powder but during the second half it just gets oily. I don't really like that.

I found the Smashbox BB cream more mattifying than most on me. I liked the Tarte 12 hr Amazonian Clay BB cream/primer. It lasted long (not 12 hours) and while not matte, it wasn't super dewy. IT's CC cream wasn't even close to matte finish for me.

Yes, nyc has a matte bb cream but it isn't for dry patches. I usually set my bb cream with a matte powder. I've recently started using a moisturizer with powder over it and carry my powder with me.

Tarte is a more matte finish with medium coverage - if you have a sephora in your country you can find it there.

Fair warning: the Rimmel Stay Matte BB Cream sucks. I bought it because I wanted a BB cream for when I didn't feel like doing foundation and everything and I really like the Stay Matte Primer but it's so runny and oily and it goes on matte but gets shiny after about 30 min. I will give them some points for managing to make a neutral shade though.
