I'm sooooo over the eyeliner looks I jus want to cry! I can't get the winged eyiner look even with the use of cello tape. My wings blotchy and I can't go with an eyeliner look for me NCOs winged looks horrible & so much for experimental with coloured eyeliners! Fed up!

Try liquid instead!! Everyone says gel liner is easier but I feel like liquid is soooo much easier. Or even a pen/felt tip liner. Try different options 😊

Definitely explore your options like Kayla Marie W said! Some people even start off with a very pigmented eye shadow in replace of liner, just to start out, although, I do know people who use it instead of liner altogether.

remember practice makes perfect.
I've been doing winged liner for 3-4 years and here is what I've learned :

first off make sure you are comfortable and your arm is well rested on something steady.
some people start off different inner corner, outer corner, wing but I personally like to start off with the wing going from the lower lash line and pull it up towards the tail of my eyebrow. after that I start going into the inner corner with short thin stokes and it sort of makes a triangle type shape so I fill that part in making sure I can't see any part of my skin.
oh and I make sure I am following my natural eye shape and once I'm done I'll thicken it up to my liking making sure the inner corner is thinner than the rest of my eye.

here are my favorite eyeliners and some tips :
liquid (NYC, almay) - be patient and careful with liquid.
felt tip (smashbox) - make sure you are holding it horizontally.
gel (Tarte) - if you want a nice sharp wing then make sure you are using a thin precise brush, although you can use a angled also.
pencil (Loreal) - I don't recommend pencils for winged liner since you can't get any sharp wings with it but if you do make sure the pencil is always sharpened.
eyeshadow/ powder (any) - I would only use eyeshadow/ powder if you want smoked out winged liner.

I learned using the felt tip eyeliner pencils it was like using a marker and it was easier to hold and learn the angles of my eyes and eventually I learned how to use other products but also also another trick that I did was start from the wing and then go towards the inner corner also using smaller strokes and lifting the pen from my eye helped me from messing up if you use long continuous lines it highers the risk of uneven or blotchy lines I hope this was usefull better luck next time

I can never get mine symmetrical to the other. It's infuriating but I take a QTip and wipe away what I need to fix it. I guess there's some concealer trick you can use but I don't know it.

It really helps. I recommend the Tom ford eye defining pen ($55), or the Stila ($20). I prefer the Tom ford one because it has a really precise, almost brush-like tip rather than a felt tip because the felt tip tends to fray at the end and make application harder, but the Tom ford one is really expensive (even though it lasted me six months before I lost it --so it possibly could have lasted me longer-- so it's definitely worth the price) so if you're not willing to spend $55 on an eyeliner pen, the Stila may be a better option for you.

I know you said you tried tape already, but I still have to say the only way I can a wing to look a little right is using tape or a business card. I love the tape method, I just had to practice a lot. You got some great advice up there when she said to try using eyeliner to draw your wing and then just fill it in with liner. Don't give up! You'll get it with practice!

Thanks guy buy one query weneva I put eyeliner at conner of my eye and lift the wing up word the eyeliner does not come on the corner of my eye and this is natural.. Anyone has this problem

This is probably going to sound the strangest thing ever, but I use mascara and a Royal Connections angled brush. It really helps and it's so much easier, I find I get a ton of precision and you can use any mascara, I tend to use a waterproof formula. I basically just roll the mascara wand over the top of the brush and go from there. You can either just 'paint' it on or stamp, I do a mixture of both. I love the clean lines and effect I get from it. I did it for the first time yesterday and it looked amazing :)

Trust me, you'll never get your wings even and no one ever really does so that's perfectly okay. A felt tip eyeliner pen is nice for doing wings because you have more control. Personally I hate gel liner, especially for wings. It just doesn't offer enough control for me and it's way too easy to mess up.
