Just purchased a dark grey clarisonic Mia and was reading a blog review about it. They said not to purchase the dark grey or black because they use a harsher plastic dye which can cause the tool to break more quickly. Does anyone own a grey or black that can say if this is true or false?!

I heard that as well and its probably indeed true because I have not seen the black or gray in stores at all. Not to bore you about packaging and product material design...yes the colors black and gray do contain harsh dyes that do break down after time...especially when it comes to plastic. Just to give you an example...if you ever bought a black plastic comb for your hair or an eyebrow/eyelash comb...notice that the first thing that begins to break off are the teeth. Or they just break completely in two.

Ahh :( I was hoping it was a fluke! I emailed their customer service and they said it was all the same dye and it's not less quality but they could be lying. Oh well. Thanks tho!
