Do any of you ladies use lace front wigs? if so can you give me sone tips before I go spend money like how long does a synthetic wig last and do they have to fit it to your head also how good do they stay on like will it fall off if it's windy??

I would strongly advise against a synthetic wig, get real hair instead of possible.

I'm going through chemo and have bin told that for chemo patients real hair isn't ideal and they need way more upkeep not to mention the price I wanted to actually have my hair turned into a wig they wanted 2000 dollars I was like yea no I'll just be bald lol.

Oh my god now I feel like a butt head. I'm sorry that's the advice I've always been given was not to do synthetic because it doesn't last as long. but I do know certain types of synthetic hair you can use heat on because it can melt the fibers.

I'm not sure love but I'm very sorry you have to go through this. I wish you all best of luck and will keep you in my prayers.

Very sorry to hear what you're going though. but I would agree with Justine that real hair is the way to go, especially for every day use and if you're wanting to style it. synthetic just won't give you what I think you're looking for as an end result.

I have a synthetic wig and it's adjustable. Mines not lace front, but the part seems and feels natural to me (it's the colorful hair in my photos) upkeep is super easy and I only paid $20 for mine. Sorry about your chemo. Sending positive thoughts and love your way 😘😚

How long it lasts depends on the type of fiber, how you take care of it, and the quality of the wig. Cheaper wigs with lower quality fibers will not last as long and will not look as natural.

Some synthetic fibers can look very natural and are extremely heat resistant, up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (maybe more, it's been a while since I've shopped for a wig). Styling is easier for shorter wigs rather than longer.

As for keeping them on, a wig cap makes it easier to hold them on. It's more difficult without any hair underneath to stick pins into as an anchor, but you can use a wig cap and put pins through the wig into the cap to help hold it into place. Try looking at tutorials online.

For a perfect fit, try looking for a wig that is adjustable (it will have a little band inside that let's you pull it tighter to make it smaller to fit). Or make sure to check measurements, if purchasing from a company that does sized wigs.

You should look at Diva wigs, you may be able to find a human hair wig on their website with your budget :) they also have high quality synthetic wigs too.
