Lemon essential oil is good for your face but so are like all essential oils lol but lemon essential is widely known to help with acne scar fading it's got a lot of uses for your whole body. I also like anything honey. It's good to exfoliate I like Philosophy's micro delivery exfoliating wash I use this daily for my acne scars. Also investing in a clarisonic might be something that interests you.

You need to use a Vitamin A serum on the areas to prevent and treat further acne. Also look for a serum that will treat pigment scarring. It sounds like you have post inflammatory hyper pigmentation which can happen with Acne. Book a facial at a Salon and make sure to get a full skin analysis and the therapist should recommend you similar products that I have mentioned, but also others that may help. Good Luck!

Agree with Joleigh! you can never go wrong with Vitamin A. I would personally recommend some type of retinoid whether it's acid, cream or gel. I get mine for around?15 (approx $20) at the dermatologist's, it lasts for a really long time and gets rid of scarring and hyperpigmentation in as little as a week!
