I feel like almond nails only look good long. But some people prefer short. It's all personal preference. I think they look super weird when they're short.

I purchase an acrylic kit from Wal-Mart or Kroger and do them myself. It's not hard at all and it's way cheaper than going to a nail salon. It comes with everything you need, including instructions and they last me about two weeks before breaking or falling off. There's more than just one use in the kit as well, maybe 3 or 4 uses for only $15 or less. At Kroger it was only $6.99. Wal-Mart it was $14.99. I've seen it at heb and Sallys as well.

I had the same problem with the press on nails RK. Thought I did something wrong cause it was on a few nails it was gross. I like the acrylic set that you do yourself as Shanae said, I just have the problem when it comes to doing my right hand.
