Do NOT use cinnamon, lemon, baking soda on your face. They can cause burns and are not the correct pH level for your face. I'd patch test honey too, lots of people are allergic to it. I wouldn't trust anything you find on Pinterest either.

Take what you find on the internet including Pinterest and YouTube with a pinch of salt. This is your skin, and something like a DIY gone wrong can scar you for life. Your skin is extremely delicate. It's much better to buy a shop-brought products that have ingredients in moderation than risk a DIY. Some facial products (such as Nivea, Simple, Superdrug own brand) are so cheap that it's not worth the risk of a DIY. You can buy masks from drugstores such as Superdrug and Boots for 99p.

Can you use oil and sugar scrubs on your face?

I use salt & honey. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, rinse with warm water, & then use a toner & moisturizer.

If you guys wouldn't do it then that's fine but if you aren't helping to answer the persons question then why are you posting? Anyways I use a sugar scrub on my face but only like once a month at the most cause I don't really like abrasive scrubs in general (including commercially available scrubs and things like clarisonic - they are just too harsh on my psoriasis skin which is very sensitive) you could try a sugar and honey scrub - I've heard it's supposed to work well but haven't tried adding honey in mine.

Also I feel like commercial scrubs are even worse than DIY scrubs and I know that commercial scrubs have not helped me personally in any way - and I'm more sensitive to synthetic preservatives in most commercial scrubs so I support the DIY and if you want to do it then go for it - we all have different skin that is sensitive to different things - mine is sensitive to more commercial chemicals than natural products but that's just me - so I don't think that commercial products are any better or worse than natural/DIY products.

Make a coffee scrub with a hint of cinnamon and baking soda as long as you know it doesn't irritate your skin. Leaves your skin so smooth and gloat and it won't feel dried at all.
