Last Saturday one of my classmates need someone to do help with prom make up and I was more than happy to help. Little did I know helping meant doing it all on my own. I honestly prayed for guidance the whole way, and felt calm like I had done makeup on other people a million times. Before my client I've only practiced a few times but I remained calm cool and collected. The application took me a good 2 hours being that I'm a beginner but she loved it! I was even proud of my work I know it's not perfect but this is better compared to the last couple of times. Do any of you ladies want to share your story about your first client? Do you have any tips for an aspiring makeup artist? What can I improve on?

She brought in her own foundation by Tarte Cosmetics in a purple tube. For her highlight and contour I used CAO Cosmetics concealer palette. I blended my life away because she had a lot of redness around her cheeks. Thank you so much Shaye!
