I'm not sure if this would be considered beauty, skincare, or style but my monroe piercing closed a few months ago and I still have a really noticeable scar/hole will it ever close up fully on the outside? or will it always look like a hole.

Mine still looks like a hole as well and I've had it out for about 4 years now.

Yeah its always going to look like a hole, I've had mine out for about 4 1/2 almost 5 years and it hasn't changed.

It'll really just depends on you. Like mine has been out for about 4 months and it's just a tiny hole. But its decreased in size tons. Some people I know it looks like they just took it out even if it has been years. Some people it closes completely. It's not something that is predictable unfortunately

I had mine done and in for around 12 months, then took it out for 6 years, and still had a visible little hole. I disliked the scar so much I actually went and got it repierced last year lol.

I took my angel bites out like 5 years ago and they're still open! Hahahah. Some piercings close and others really don't, I guess it depends how long you kept the piercing :)

Yeah I know how you feel Renay, tough choices ;) I might regret repiercing it in another 20 years... but for now I am happy with it haha.

I thought of repiercing it but dummy me got it pierced for free in a motel by an old friend who "claimed" to know what he was doing and it was slanted in my lip and I don't want the scar tissue to hurt if it gets repierced lol and then I had my industrial pierced and then got a huge coil bar stuck in my ear for a few years then when I finally got it out the bottom hole on my cartilage closed so I'm stuck with a random piercing on top of my ear lol it looks really awkward if I put a jewelry in it lol.

Try using raw honey, my boyfriend just cut his thumb open about a month and a half ago and has been using honey to help the scar fade. It's better to start tending to it now rather than later. Seems weird but honey is sort of a miracle product, I've read a few articles about how quickly it can heal cuts too. Some guy owns a horse than cut its leg through the tendon to the bone and usually horses get put down when this happens but instead the guy sewed the tendon and applied honey and bandaged the leg and two weeks later it was pretty much healed.
