How do you guys feel about purchasing products Jaclyn Hill recommends? I personally love her and everything I've tried that she uses seems to be of quality. But before I spend anymore money, I would like to get a second opinion from fellow makeup addicts! xoxo.

Well I don't watch Jacqlyn Hill specifically but anytime any beauty guru I watch recommends something that catches my interest I still do my own research. Just because they love something and it works for them doesn't mean I'll get the same result.

I agree with Alexis. Plus a lot of beauty bloggers and 'gurus' are sent products or are paid by companies to recommend or feature products, even if they personally hate them themselves

I agree with all. If it's a big investment, do research and ask as many people as possible. If it's under like $20, I'd probably just go for it.

I never do. Not even when my favorite you tubers or insta personalities mention something because they are probably receiving those products for free and are basically kissing butt I the company. Some people don't and are very honest but they're hard to find.

Any kind of product recommendations I always assume are just marketing ploys to get you to buy the product - unless I tried it out myself and I know I like - I only trust real consumer opinions and you beauties here on BL cause at least you all are honest and will tell me what's up.
