What would be in your makeup bag?

I am going travelling for 2 months in a couple weeks and I am trying to decide what makeup to pack! I normally wear a full face but I will only be bringing a backpack and want to only bring essentials. What would be in your makeup bag?

This is what I would bring, assuming that some days I'll be makeup free and some days I'll be wearing light makeup.

Primer
Foundation in a sample container
CC cream
Concealer
Setting powder
Brow pencil
Eye primer
1 eyeshadow palette
Liner
Mascara
Contour powder
Blush
Highlighter
A few lipsticks
Setting spray

If you use a powder for your brows then you can just use a color from the eyeshadow palette you bring rather than a separate brow powder. You could also skip the highlighter and use a shimmery eyeshadow in your palette. Lipsticks can also double as blush o you can leave your blushes and just use lipsticks.

Most products are available in a travel size so see if you can get your favorite products in a travel size to save space. If not then put your products (at least the liquid ones) in sample containers to save space as well.

If you're going to be traveling...
-Sunscreen!!
-Something easy like a BB or CC cream that you can apply with your fingers
-A concealer wand or stick if you need it
-Powder
-A brow pencil
-One good/versatile eyeshadow palette
-Eyeshadow primer
-Mascara
-Eyeliner if you need it
-A good face palette if you have one, like the naked flushed
-Whatever brushes that you absolutely need
-One neutral and one brighter lip product
-A setting spray!

It really depends on what you feel is necessary for your face/looks. You could go with a lot less than I have here. If you're really low on space, skip the eyeshadow entirely and stick with just mascara.

Uhh for backpack traveling I would not bring much, its going to be way to heavy in the backpack! And you might find awesome new products on your way :)

So I would pack kinda like Kayla Marie :)

- Lots of sunscreen with a high spf! I would say a minimum of spf 30!
- BB cream
- Powder
- A blush/bronzer palettet - Naked flused like Kayla Maria said would be great
- Eyeshadow palette - Which ever one is your favorite
- 2 mascaras - 1 waterproof and one not
- A dual side eyeliner with a black side and a cream side
- An tintet eyebrow gel
- A good lipbalm
- A long lasting lipstick

But remember skincare!
Bring a great day and night time moisturizer with spf as well and a face wash!

Haha okay this might be heavy as well!

I'm taking a camping tour around Italy it's 2 weeks I'll be bringing:
BB cream
Concealer
Light coverage powder
Brow pencil
Blush
Brown pen liner
Both brown and black mascara
I usually don't wear much makeup beyond what I need to cover acne scars

Thanks ladies! I totally forgot about waterproof mascara but will definitely need it. I'm going to south east asia :) and yes sunscreen is a must!! I will have to pack what I am thinking of bringing together and then hopefully I can decide on a couple things to leave out. A camping tour around Italy sounds amazing Elizabeth -have fun!!
