Hey girls I just wanted to know the order to put makeup on and some recommendations. I just got paid and I need to update my makeup. All I usually wear is makeup and foundation but I wanted to start put some eyeshadow and highlight and all that stuff! Thanks in advance. ☺️😘

Well if you want to go all out I'd say this is the general order:
primer
foundation
concealer (only if necessary for spots)
highlighting the nose, under eye (if you need to color correct dark circles I'd suggest you do that first)/chin usually with a concealer a shade or so lighter than your skintone
set with powder
bronze
contour with cool shade
apply powder highlight if you really wanna glow
blush
eyebrows
eyes
lips
that's about all I can think of so far!

I love my Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 palette. I think it was £23 or so and has 6 everyday neutral colours that range from cream to near black and they are great for beginners (like me!) I am also looking for a new highlighter so will follow this thread!

Products I recommend
- Laura Geller baked highlighter in Toasted Coconut. I absolutely adore this highlighter, it's the only one I've found that actually looks good with my skin!
- Mally eyeshadow palettes. I have 3 and they're so good and pigmented. They come with a shadow base too in the palette!
- NYX lipsticks - I ADORE NYX lipsticks! I have about 20, they're amazing and soooo pigmented, yet so cheap! They last forever and do every colour imaginable.
- NYX lipliners. I've got one at the moment but I'm definitely buying more when I get paid. They're really soft on your lips to put on and very pigmented, but I'd put a little bit of lipbalm underneath as they can be a little drying.
Just a little tip, if you decide to go with Rimmel lipsticks, they tend to feather a lot so definitely invest in a lipliner. This was the reason I switched to NYX lipsticks as they don't feather :)

My normal skincare routine. I use mostly dermalogica but incorporate some first aid beauty products at the moment
dermalogica barrier cream.
*primer, sometimes I'll just use barrier cream, but if it's been on for a while before makeup application I use smashbox or Laura mercier
*foundation: estee lauder double wear, smashbox studio skin or mac studio sculpt
*I don't usually use concealer but will use some mufe powder but only a tiny bit
*blush: Nars or mac, I switch shades every day but love mac melba, blushbaby, peaches, cantaloupe
*brows: abh dip brow
*cream highlight & contour with concealers la girl pro concealers & set with banana powder for highlight
*highlight: the balm Mary louminizer
*eye primer: udpp
*eyeshadow: changes everyday, either makeup geek, abh palettes or Lorac pro
*mascara: buxom or Lancome defincils or hypnose
*liner: inglot gel liner or urban decay perversion
*false lashes: ardell
*Lipliner: mac or nyx
*lipstick: mac all fired up, Vegas volt, creme cup, velvet teddy, diva, cyber, ruby woo
& always use mac fix plus as a refresher and Kat von d lock n load spray

& by saying I don't use concealer I meant I don't use it for dark circles, blemishes, etc.because I don't have those. I use it only for cream highlight and contour.
I also use bronzer and currently either use Nars laguna, Hoola benefit or too faced chocolate soleil
