My friend was crying to me yesterday. She showed me that she has the coarse hairs on her chest and stomach. She told me summer is coming up and she doesn't know what to do...
1= is this normal? Do you k anyone ELSE that has this?
2= how can you get rid of it without having to wax your body every week?

First off, I wouldn't use the term he-she.
second, it's perfectly fine. people (including women) grow hair on they're chest and stomach.

I get course hair too, I have to admit it really sucks. I try to wax, that's really the only way I know how to get rid of it. I get it mostly on my stomach and face

I agree with Les, that's a horrible word and honestly I'm surprised you would use it in reference to someone that you claim is your friend.

I'm half Mexican so my body hair, including the hair on my chest and stomach, is slightly darker than someone with a very light complexion and hair color. It's completely normal. Personally I just leave the hair, it's going to grow back no matter what (unless you get laser hair removal) so I don't see any reason to bother with it.

He-she is very rude and offensive.
I agree with Liz, she should get laser
hair removal. In the mean time she can wax it.

Hello RK,I must add that the title alone doesn't make sense and really doesn't go with your question. The choice of words is not pleasant. I could in Fact change that up for you so that your thread is looked at in another light.

I have dark hairs around my belly button too. Honestly, if you're examining them so closely then yes, they look really dark but from a distance they're unnoticeable. I just leave them as they are, it's not really a big deal for me.

Holly, first off it's extremely rude and offensive.
calling her friend a "he-she" because she has hairs on her stomach/chest?
seriously.

Just so you know Holly, that's even more so offensive if her friend was Transgender :)

A genuine answer to your question of why that's offensive: calling someone a he-she is extremely offensive. Nobody wants their gender questioned. Regardless of if you were born a girl and identify as a girl (in which case, obviously the preferred pronoun would be her/she), or if you were born a boy and identify as a girl (in which case the preferred pronoun would still be she/her), questioning somebodys gender identity can hit a lot of sore spots with people. For example, my boyfriend is a transman, meaning born female, identifies as male, therefore preferred pronoun is he/him. If anybody, at any point, called him a he-she, I would quite literally kick their ass. It's just an extremely offensive and rude thing to say.
If someone's preferred pronoun is she/her, that is what they are, that is what you call them, and you do not insult them by calling them a he-she

I hope that made sense :)

Not trying to be rude, just trying to give you a legitimate answer so you can understand :)

The term he-she is offensive overall, even if her friend was transgender that doesn't make a difference.
that's why with transgendered they have they're pronouns they preferred to be called.
she/her, he/him or they/them.

Everything that molly said above is 100% accurate.

Yeah, I have this issue too, it's in my genes :( I just wax since it isn't painful to wax the belly. But it does get annoying after a while :( also, I'm so confused about this he-she thing... Where did she say that?

Yea me too @Viva I was trying to look where she said it at.

Umm I don't know if I'm blind or reading the post right but I don't see anything about a he-she reference.??

I agree...I'm all for expressing your opinion because I have a big mouth myself and am very opinionated, but it's really not that serious...I know Trans individuals who probably wouldn't get offended, I feel like if you're not in that position then don't speak on it lol. (How did the trans thing come up anyways?) all she said was he-she, ignorance is bliss, don't give into it.

Girls are very sensitive. it's not right to call someone a "he-she" alma fixed it now so I don't see why we are still arguing over it 😊 anyways, I think it's fine! I don't have dark hair, but I get think hair on my stomach, chest, and back and if you want to remove it just shave it! it will grow back, but it's like leg hair. just include it in your shaving routine if you were really worried about it, but honestly I don't think you walk around showing everyone your chest and stomach (unless you're in a swimsuit) but other than that, not many people will see your hair on your chest and stomach so it's really not a big deal.
