IMO, its always necessary to wear a primer. it makes me feel better knowing there's a barrier between the product and my actual skin.

Because they're not regular foundations, its like a combination of primer foundation moisterizer and primer. If I'm not mistaken

It really depends. Say if your going to be outside and it's blazing hot the whole day I would want a primer.

Some products stay better with primer and others last either way. I think it also depends on your skin. I'm combination so my foundation stays on longer with primer.

I have a question. I've been wondering this with my foundation as well. Does primer block all the supposed benefits from your bb or foundation from actually sinking into your skin since it's creating that barrier? Because then I feel like we should be putting more thought into our primers beneficial qualities more than our bb cc creams etc.

No because most bb creams have a primer built in (especially American ones) I don't use a primer with any of my bb or cc creams and they still last all day when set with powder n setting spray - even some foundations don't need primer - primer really just acts as a barrier between your skin and the makeup so it's never really necessary but can improve the application of a product but not necessarily elongate the wear of it.

I personally never use primers unless my pores look really big that day or it's a special occasion, I don't notice a difference with my makeup with one, so no it's not necessary, it's all personally preference and there's no right or wrong way :)

I don't, and I have oily skin. It depends on the bb cream though. I generally don't if it's a Korean one, or if it's from Cover FX.
