Ok so I'm thinking of using masks as a weekly beauty routine so which mask is better for my skin?

I really am not sure, but I think it all depends on your skin type. I have acne and do clay masks often, but I've only tried peel off once.

Clay is adapted for oily skin, if you have sensitive/dry skin Its not a good idea

Clay masks and peel off masks can do two different things entirely.

Clay masks tend to pull oil & debris to the surface to clear out your pores.
A (good) peel off mask helps resurface the skin whether it'd be for fine lines, skin damage, evening out skin tone, etc.

Clay masks are great to use as part of your skin care routine, and can help prevent congested pores. I personally don't use any peel off masks (at the moment..) but I do use betonite clay in my routine... really helps get gunk out of my pores and helps serums and other goodies get into my skin deeper, especially when it comes to corrective serums.

I do have to respectfully disagree with Laura.. I have very sensitive and dry skin.. it gives me absolutely no issues. It depends on the ingredients as there are harmful clay masks that contain a boatload of irritating fragrances and ingredients. If you have sensitive skin I recommend getting the actual clay mask (Betonite clay, aztec healing clay, etc) and not pre-made masks where a bunch of other gunk is loaded into them... this way you know what goes into your mask and can control it yourself ( I add aloe vera juice and manuka honey)

Oh I agree with Kitty! The Aztec healing bentonite clay is incredible.
