Do the beauty advisors at macys (lancome, Estée Lauder, Dior, fashion fair) where the brush tool belts like the employees at Mac?

I haven't seen anyone wearing them at the Macy's I go to.

I think it depends. I saw a few once when they were actually doing someones makeup.

I haven't seen many, but different locations require different things I suppose.

The actual MUA for the lines do for Event's most of the people that work counter are not full on Artist,they know what they learn from line groupings of product's that are new to the line or need to be sold.They do have tools for sample application's.
