So I recently bought some witch hazel because I heard a lot of great things about it. I was just wondering what you guys use witch hazel for, and if it really worked for you.

Undistilled witch hazel works great.. I'd double check to make sure yours is alcohol-free and undistilled (distilled witch hazel includes alcohol which is no-good for the skin. ) Love using it on wounds and cuts.. feels cooling and refreshing on the skin. Thayers makes some great alcohol free witch hazel with cucumber, aloe, and other goodies as a toner.

Work for what? I use it as a toner and it works well to deep clean my pores and doesn't over dry my skin.

^^^ I also use it as Diana does and I love it. I was skeptical when it was suggested to me b/c in the past toners always stripped my skin but Thayers deep cleans without drying out my skin.

I mix it with rose water and glycerin and keep in a spray bottle in the fridge to mist on hot days. I also use it as a toner.

I don't know if the glycerin is a good idea btw. I just do it bc it's always worked with my skin which is very dry.

I had a neutropenia pore minimizing toner that was too harsh on my skin. I now use Thayers non alcoholic with aloe Vera and it's great.
