Hey,

I have recently dyed my hair pink and I really want to know your opinion on fading ,evenness and if it generally looks good!

Thanks so much,
Sarah

It's a pretty color of pink, but I personally think you dyed it a little too high. No worries though, once your hair starts growing out, it'll look more like an actual dip dye 😊

And what about the fading? I don't know but I'm kinda stressed about it.

It's very pretty but I feel as if it looks too harsh due to the line of it, it should be more blended and have more have more transition.

Yes I feel exactly the same way! Any tips on how to achieve a transition like that? How do you do it in the hair dying process?

If you tease your hair throughout it'll help it look more "natural" or transitioned and not so harsh.

Thank you all so much! (And no, the childish look is not what I was going for, therefore I have my hair in a ponytail/bun 24/7)

But the link to the blogpost doesn't work. I will do some research now.

Did wash it with baking powder now...thoughts? Does the fading look better? (lol I'm about to give up...)

If you used a vegetable based semi permanent dye you can dilute some of it with conditioner to create a paler colour. If you decide to re dye your hair you can use this as a transition shade to fade the colour from blonde to pink without a line.
