How to use this brush for foundation?

I recently got this brush for my foundation. I don't really know how to use it though! I tried buffing, going in circular motions and it didn't work. When I used it, it left me streaky and cakey. Doesn't really give me the coverage I get from a damp sponge. The brush is really soft and dense. But it's flexible too. I think I just don't know how to use it! Any help and tips would be appreciated! :)

Thanks so much Jacqueline!! I see so many people on YouTube using it for foundation but it just didn't look good on me! I will definitely try it with my powder foundation and see how that works! :)
