I use the exact same foundation and brush as you and this doesn't happen to me. I use Benefit POREfessional primer and it makes my skin super smooth so maybe check out a primer - I recommend that Benefit one.

Make sure your exfoliating once a week and use a primer.

Also make sure you're skin is moisturized. Foundation tends to stick to dry spots

Just as a warning setting sprays always break up my make up faster, no matter how many ways I apply it!

Exfoliating, cleansing, and moisturising the skin really is key in order to ensure that you achieve a flawless look once you apply makeup. I use the same brush as well and it honestly was one of the best purchases I ever made :)

I exfoliate in the shower with a blackhead heating exfoliator. And I put moisturiser on before putting my foundation on, but I don't use primer. So I might look into that and I do use a powder. I actually use two powders. But thanks for the tips girls :)

I use the same brush and foundation aswell and don't ever have this particular problem, I'd suggest a primer. You're Australian right? I use the Australis "original" primer and their pressed powder and it works wonders for me personally with the Loreal true match.
