Hey ladies, just a quick question what are some neutral/light colors for a nurse. I can't wear bright flashy colors, I work in a nursing home and I need to keep it calm lol.

Well neutrals are browns, black, white, and gray. Some light colors would be like champagne and really light golds.

My sister-in-law is a nurse and she resorts to matte neutral eye colors...brown, soft dusty rose, taupe. As far as blush she uses a soft rosy shade. And lips...clear lip balm as she can't be worried about reapplying lipstick as she works in critical care.

I'm a Cna and I usually stick with neutrals and do a cat eye at times along side a bit of lip gloss. The naked basics is an amazing palette to consider looking into :)

This is in the nail category, so I'm going to list off some good natural nail colors, lol but I doubt as a nurse that you can have your nails done. Essie makes great natural nail colors, some of my favorites include Bubble Bath, Sugar Daddy, Mademoiselle, and Ballet Slippers. OPI makes a great opaque nude, called Samoan Sand.

Actually I posted it in the nail category for lists/names of neutral/light nail polishes! I work in a nursing home that allows us to have our nails painted just not artificial nails! Thank you ladies for the makeup suggestions and thanks a bunch Tia S for taking notice to the category it's posted in!!

I totally misses that...you were asking about nail colors. That's what happens when one goes without their glasses.lol. So sorry about that Kyrsten. At least you received some great makeup tips. ;)

OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons is a good nude shade. If you want a soft white color, I'll recommend OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls :)
