Mine didn't scar. was just a weird chemical burn. my derm said it burned through a layer of skin. but it healed up in a week or so.

Wow that's an extremely high amount to put on your face. I personally hate benzoyl peroxide. It's known for burning and/or bleaching the skin. I'm very allergic to it. I only used it once about 8 years ago and it still has left permanent damage around my nose. My boyfriend used to use 2% benzoyl peroxide and one time he dropped a bit on the carpet and wiped it up 5 minutes later and it actually burned a hole straight through the carpet. I know a lot of people use it for acne but there's so many more gentle products to use on your skin that won't damage it. Try looking into using tea tree oil. African Black Soap is also good for acne but for some people it may be a tingling feeling on the face. My boyfriend started going to spa's to get facials for his acne and it cleared it up amazing without using harsh chemicals. As for the marks it left on your face, definitely try some aloe vera and make sure to moisturize. Apply some vitamin e oil to prevent scarring. From my experience the marks usually go away within about a weeks time. I hope this helped!

That happened to me as well with the Murad Spot treatment and that is only 3.5% bpo. I just moisturized really well and wore sunscreen and it cleared up in a few days.
