No one in business regardless of the field purchases a company an doesn't place their "mark" on the products... I love loreal products an I think the company will do great things with urban in expanding a lot of what we see out there... Seems everything loreal touches grows an expands to new heights! Kudos to their success!

L'Oreal also owns clarisonic, maybelline New York, an Lancôme. The company grosses over 25.95 billion a year in sales. To say there will be no changes is not correct. There testing I cannot say but what I can say is after the other companies were purchased there were discontinued products in those lines immediately an changes to products such as packaging, color variations etc. why would a multi million dollar company purchase something an not stand behind what's being manufactured with their name tied to it? Changes may be subtle but they will happen.

The company, believe it or not, was going under. L'Oréal bought the company to save it. The brand will become competitive and in the likes of MAC; stand-alone stores, better packaging, more suitable to all demographics. The integrity of the brand will not change; PETA certified, amazing pigmentation, vegan products, etc. Seems like L'Oreal is just the sugar daddy - providing funds to ameliorate and grow.

I love all their eye shadows!! The colors are just amazing and are really pigmented. A really nice goldish bronze is Smog...try it out. I actually don't own any of the Naked Palettes because I have a lot of similar colors already from them. The primer potion is just as amazing in my opinion, it really helps with the staying power of your shadow and prevents creasing.

I have had great luck with naked eye palettes, but the foundation is NOT worth the $. The book of shadows quality has tanked in quality too. The extras are nice though!!
