I put this in skin care since that's where it seems like it belongs to me, but please let me know if I'm wrong! I recently had a rather large breakout (at least for me) and because it rarely happens to me, I'm wondering if I can wear foundation again? The itching has stopped, and I don't feel the blemishes as I did before if that makes sense. Also, I know that washing your sheets and pillowcases and such is important, but is it necessary and does anyone know of a way to wash your mattress?

Unfortunately you can't wash a mattress but you can flip it over. as long as you feel like your skin is moisturized enough, then you can try and apply make up again. don't be afraid to use your foundation again. just make sure you keep up with your skin care routine :)

Disinfectant spray on your mattress is about all you can do. I agree that your face needs to be plenty moisturized and if you feel like you can wear it again, you can. To sanitize your powder and whatnot spray alcohol on it.

I'm not too sure about loose powder. :/

If you only breakout from the foundation then it's time to toss it. The foundation could have chemicals that irritate you skin. Another possibility is that the foundation is expired. I recommend tossing that foundation and keep things off your face until your face clears up. Breakouts can be painful so it's best to leave them alone and let them heal.

I think you can get your mattress dry cleaned, search for a company near you that dry cleans and ask cause I know one here that even dry clean curtains.

Fayce of the doll, I used a friend's primer and bb cream which caused the breakouts. My makeup had never done this before. Thank you though!

And thank you ladies, I was worried because about a year ago I got staph in my face and if it had happened again I wanted to be able to clean everything. Thank goodness I'm staph free though!
