Short! Long nails can get TOO long when they grow out and are usually unacceptable for different jobs. Short nails are more classy and holistically make you look like you're well put together.

I like both especially long ones for nail art since there could be so much cool stuff on it, but personally I'd go with what Sara said too just because longer nails tend to break easier, and just make daily tasks more of a struggle, so it would probably be a better everyday choice :p.
