The Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit line works really well. But make sure you use a really good moisturizer because it has been known to completely dry out people's faces (including mine). I mix mine with the Purity face wash from Philosophy (which is very pricey so just find a really gentle face wash).

Hey! What would you say your skin is like? Is it dry or oily?
You're going to want to find a cleanser that has acne fighting properties like salicylic acid or benzoin peroxide. I haven't used a clarifying cleanser in so long, I have no idea what the drug store has to offer. I used to use one from clean and clear if that would help at all. I would make sure you do a quick cleanse of your skin before washing your face. You can use a wipe to make sure you removed all of your makeup before going in.
Depending on the severity of your acne, a spot treatment or a full mask might be the best bet. You're going to want to find something with the same two ingredients (salicylic acid or benzoin peroxide) or charcoal or sulphur. A charcoal mask would draw all of the impurities to the surface whereas a spot treatment would target the spots and treat them medically to reduce swelling and the infection. A serum may also be beneficial, something with vitamin c or liquorice will brighten the complexion and fade acne scars. An exfoliator would also do wonders to smooth your skin out.
A good moisturizer is key during the whole process, using chemicals to treat the acne would dry out your skin.

I use noxzema classic face wash. My family swears by it. I also use homemade face masks that have helped my skin improve lots! Also, just using a little bit of plain oats with some water and rubbing the oats over your face for about sixty seconds and then rinsing it off with warm water. Oatmeal is great for the skin!! Hope this helped a little. Lol.

I use the panoxyl 10% benezol peroxide and I love this stuff for my acne! It dries out your skin at first but I've noticed a difference! My acne is pretty much gone!
