Is there really a big deal on what brand I get? Considering it's just a sheet to blot the oil of my face, does it matter? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm ignorant on this topic.

Urm kleenex.
They don't use powder to blot on the sheet. So it won't look cakey or orangy. You can use them with confidence. It's the stretchy paper that does it. You can see the oil witch hwlped me understand tbe areas of my face betted. IT's AWESOME.
They're my fave :)

I've tried a bunch of brands and I haven't noticed a single difference. So just buy a generic off brand that's cheap and you'll be fine.

Honestly blotting sheets don't work for me at all! So I just carry a matte powder and a small face brush with me.

I've bought elf ones before and unless they've changed, the last ones I purchased were awful.

I use the elf ones, just a dollar and I think they work really well in comparison to a lot of others.

Palladio rice blotting paper is pretty great too. there is the oil absorbing side and the side that has a thin layer of tinted rice powder. its a great oil controller, and the papers leave you smooth and dry without messing with your make up. I get mines at Sally's beauty for about $5

I actually only like the clean and clear sheets. I've tried allege rent types. I don't think it's so much the brand as the type. Some are papery and some are more plasticky. I like the plasticky ones better

Tbh I just use a Kleenex tissue or paper towels, I don't see the point in spending money on oil blotting sheets. But I rarely get oily anyways soo.

I used the elf ones. I think they were only $1 and they seem to be mopping up the oil well enough.
