Do you need a new or better razor? Or maybe shaving cream?

Exfoliation will do a world of good, it's great for getting all of the dead skin cells off, and will certainly help free all of your little ingrowns. I use the Body Shop Cocoa Butter body scrub, which is a dream for smoothing and hydrating my legs before I shave. I also use Aveeno shave gel and a men's razor, which I like better because it's designed for the sensitive skin of your face, so it doesn't leave me with any weird bumps or razor burn or rash.

I never ever shave because of that I feel like it looks so bad so I basically wax everywhere it pulls out all of the ingrown hairs but it is like so painful so I'd try exfoliating first lol.

If you're going to try to exfoliate, I use olive oil and sea salt/or sugar. It works really well.

Men's razors are never a smart idea, they're much more rough than a woman's razor. I personally prefer I think it's Venus and it has five blades I believe. It could also be the cream or gel your using. I use the eos cream, but if you can't/don't want to get that, conditioner works wonders when it comes to shaving! Also, don't forget to switch out the blades, dull razors can cause burns, rashes and ingrown hairs. Hope this helped! :)

Megan, I happen to use the Gillette razors, which I like a lot =)

Definitely exfoliate and look into getting a new razor and shaving cream and make sure you replace your razors often. I usually don't have ingrown hairs as an issue but my hair grows really fast and I do have sensitive skin so I prefer waxing over shaving but when I do shave my legs I exfoliate really well before and use a fresh razor.

Exfoliate before shaving. I stopped shaving a year ago now I use an epilator I love it it last longer than shaving.

It can also be that you just have thick follicles. I have thick hair, and when I shave, even when close and smooth you can still see each follicle. only if you look closely. the only way to avoid that is to wax. do you feel stubble when you run your hand against your hair growth??

Exfoliate and @Hannah I do the exact same thing with the men's razors.
